Join our community ESL class!

We offer community ESL classes as part of our teacher training and development program. As we are principally focused on teacher education and training, we are able to provide these classes at very affordable rates. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple instructors at the same time, as TESOL trainees participate in the class as teacher assistants and co-teachers. The class is led by a professional ESL instructor and is designed for learners with an intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in English. This class is NOT for beginners.

How to join the class

If you are interested in joining the class for the first time please email steslinfo@spu.edu to be added to the waitlist.
We cannot give you an exact date of entry, as our rolling enrollment system allows students to start and end at different points. For newly added students the estimated earliest entry date is April/May 2017.
  1. Call (206) 781-8607 or email steslinfo@spu.edu to check availability for new students. If the class is full, we will put you on a waitlist and contact you when space is available.
  2. Once space is available, come to the school from 5:15pm to 6:00pm on any day class is in session (schedule below).
  3. Register in class with the teacher. Registrations are not accepted by fax or mail, or taken by the office during the day.
