General InformationAll of our course formats (intensive, evening, and online) are designed to maximize student success and learning. The most important decision for you is determining which format works best for your situation. Which format can you commit your time and energy to? Please read the information regarding formats carefully. Formats of Study AvailableThe School of Teaching ESL offers five formats of study that may be used to earn a TESOL cerfiticate or ELL endorsment. Credits earned in some formats may also be applied toward graduate programs at Seattle University. Formats may also be combined towards TESOL certificates and the ELL endorsement, if needed. Four Week IntensiveThe four week Intensive course is designed for those who wish to complete a TESOL certificate in one month. Earn a 12 credit certificate in one month of full time intensive study. more... Summer IntensivesSummer Intensives courses are designed for individuals who are able to study full time for one week.
