


Admission & Registration
Welcome prospective and continuing S-TESL students!
Being admitted into our program and taking classes at the School of Teaching ESL is a three step process. These steps are required for all students, including continuing students.

- Intent to Enroll Form
- Registration
Step 1 - Advising
Advising means you have discussed the admissions requirements and course selection with an administrator at S-TESL either by phone, email, or an in-person appointment. This step assures that you understand our program, your options, and specific course expectations.
Once you have been advised, you can move on to Step 2.
Note: Do not proceed if you intend to take classes spring classes for Seattle University credit. Contact S-TESL admissions at stesladmissions@spu.edu for instructions and to obtain a registration form.
Step 2 - Intent to Enroll form
The purpose of the intent to enroll form to ensure you meet all of the requirements for the program and your chosen course of study. It also helps us anticipate enrollment.

Step 3 - Registration
Following advising and completion of the Intent to Enroll form you will register online through the Seattle Pacific Univeristy system. An S-TESL administrator will e-mail you details following the completion of Step 1 and Step 2 above.
The registration email will contain the quarter specific link and password to the Seattle Pacific Univeristy online registration page for S-TESL students, and the quarter specific course registration number (CRN). You will be unable to register without this information.
NOTE: If you have previously take any coursework, or received credit hours from SPU, then you already have an SPU account and will need to use this account to register for classes. If you do not have your account information follow instructions for previous user at this link to retrieve your student account information.
